Also in June, on the 21st, we will be manning a stall at the Town’s Farmers’ Market, in the King George V field, during which we will be highlighting the work of “Blood Bikes” and offering the chance to win a magnificent Hamper. One of our major events this year is our Risborough Rotary Ramble on 6th July at Wades Park (9 am-5 pm). It offers a 6 or 12 mile walk for a charitable donation of £10 and a 3 mile family walk in aid of Scannappeal and the Risborough Youth Club (who will be doing a BBQ), a Chocolate Hunt, and “Tea in the Park” in aid of Shelterbox (a charity that delivers aid to families devastated by conflict or disaster, providing durable shelter and the tools to rebuild communities). We are a friendly, fun Club which also works hard for the local community. If you know of causes that would benefit from our support, or would like to donate to our Charity, please use the contact details below. Also, if you might consider joining us, visit our website and come to one of our Monday evening meetings at the Whiteleaf Golf Club to see if it might interest you.
